One Piece Odyssey is full of great anime and manga characters.
One Piece Odyssey has a lot of characters from Manga and anime from over the years. Fans wanted certain things to happen in the game, and when it did, they were either happy or sad. When hundreds of different characters have interacted with Luffy and his crew, it's hard to make everyone happy.
Some characters make us laugh a lot, while others make us cry. Each of these minor characters adds a lot of history to the story or helps to set it up. The great thing about having such a big cast is that it can make players feel a lot of different things, especially when certain enemies show up. Whether you like them or hate them, they are a big part of One Piece.
Lim
Lim is only in One Piece Odyssey, and for most of the story, he is with the pirate crew. She has a talent that lets him turn people and things into memory cubes. She also runs a place called Memoria, which is how the Straw Hat Pirates go back to islands they've been to in the anime and relive important parts of the story. Lim sticks by the crew as they learn what love and friendship mean through the pirates' bonds.
Lim is a great addition to the many characters in the story. Her innocence and naivety are a great contrast to the crew's arrogance. We may never see her again, but her ability would be a great thing to come back to in the future, given how many plots the manga had to begin with.
Franky (Pre-timeskip)
Seeing Franky from before the time jump was a nice touch. Franky has always been a fan favorite, but the Franky we see now is much better than the Franky we first met in the Water 7 arc. As the leader of a gang of thieves, this version of Franky was rude and full of himself. His "Franky Family" was a group of bounty hunters who often smashed up other ships.
Working on the docks of Water 7 did a lot of damage to Franky's body. Over time, he started adding cyborg parts to his body, which made him even stronger and more durable. Franky used to be an enemy of the Straw Hats, but in the end he became one of them. After he joined the pirate crew and helped build the Thousand Sunny ship, he became the crew's engineer.
Portgas D. Ace
Fans of manga and anime often cry when they see Luffy's sweet brother Ace. The way Ace shows up in One Piece Odyssey is both good and bad. Ace is a big part of Luffy's emotional journey, and we don't want to bring up sad memories or give away too much for new fans. His story might be the most important in all of One Piece's history. What happens to Ace is what caused the anime to jump ahead in time.
Ace makes a great cameo in One Piece Odyssey. He brings a lot of energy with him. The sharp colors of the swirling fire, which is Ace's element, make the game look beautiful. So every time he's on screen, he has a beautiful color scheme.
Trafalgar D. Water Law
Trafalgar Law is a pirate from the North Blue who is friends with Luffy. Trafalgar was an enemy of the pirates at first, like so many of their allies. He was a rough pirate who wanted power. Over time, he became more friendly and worked with the Straw Hats, which got him kicked out of the Seven Warlords. Trafalgar shows up near the end of the game and shows that he is a good fighter.
Trafalgar is a sad character who comes from an island where he is the only person left alive after a terrible event. He quickly became a fan favorite, and he has been in a few arcs. This made it certain that he would be in One Piece Odyssey. Even though it's all just a memory, he still has that same grumpy attitude. We'll let it slide, though.
Donquixote Doflamingo
In the anime and manga, Doflamingo caused trouble for the pirates because it was expensive and dangerous. Don't be fooled by the outfit. Even though he looks flashy and loud, he is a bad person. This man felt like his family had betrayed him, so he killed them in cold blood. A man who wanted to rule the whole world from Dressrosa's throne. In One Piece Odyssey, he shows up as a boss.
Doflamingo is animated in a beautiful way. His feathered outfit moves in a flashy way when he moves, and his bright colors stand out every time he's on the screen. Doflamingo is the enemy that everyone loves to hate.
Bon Clay
Bon Clay used to be an enemy, but now he is a friend of the Straw Hat Pirates. He was another character with a wild look and personality. Bon Clay often put himself in danger to help his friend Luffy. In both the game and the anime, Bon Clay fights in a unique way. He uses his dancing skills to make violent moves.
Bon Clay is not an easy person to forget. With a pink and blue outfit and a cape with two swan heads, he has a fun look. This is a big change from how violent he used to be. Bon Clay doesn't show up as much in the anime anymore because he is now Queen of Newkama Land.
Rebecca
Rebecca, who is important in the Dressrosa chapter of One Piece Odyssey, has a friendly face. Doflamingo put Rebecca in a gladiator fight when he killed Rebecca's family to take the throne of Dressrosa. Rebecca is a brave warrior. Even though Rebecca isn't mentioned as often as some of the other people on this list, she deserves a place in our hearts because of the hard times she goes through.
Many people respect her for how well she fights, but her looks and... ahem... assets make her more of a waifu. She changes between being a badass and a girl who needs to be saved. Luckily, most of her role in the game is the former.
Adio Suerte
Like Lim, Adio is only in One Piece Odyssey. He doesn't appear anywhere else. Adio is hard to trust, so he spends most of Happy Wheels game telling the Straw Hats what to do so they can help him get rid of a curse on the island. He leads Luffy and the rest of the crew to dungeons and bosses, and every so often he jumps in to fight with his fancy twin pistols.
Adio is the kind of person we want to slap. He's a pantomime character who eats up the scenery. He's the kind of person who goes above and beyond being crazy. He laughs like he's crazy and thinks about things a lot. We might never see him again, which is a shame.
Smoker
Smoker is one of the first people Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates have to fight. Everyone knew that he would show up. Smoker is a favorite of many people. He's been in so many arcs that it's hard to believe he hasn't quit. His goal in life is to catch Luffy, and a few times he's been close. Today, Smoker is more of an anti-hero than a hero. He is still the Straw Hats' enemy, but they have helped each other out a few times.
Smoker is a brash and loud guy who is never seen without his trademark cigars. He does have a soft side, but it's not often seen. In One Piece Odyssey, his appearance is based on this softer side, but he never loses sight of his goal.
Tashigi
Tashigi is another character we met early on in the manga and anime. He looks just like Zoro's best friend from when they were kids. She is his apprentice, so she is often seen with him. This strange person is very clumsy, but he or she is determined to catch the Straw Hats. This has to do with the first time she met Zoro and the way her boss, Smoker, felt.
Her appearance in One Piece Odyssey was a bit of a surprise because she isn't a very strong villain, but fans love her. It was nice to see a familiar face that didn't only belong to Luffy.
