Are AI and alternate energy sources about to propel a massive technological advancement? Will our society eventually shift to one that is more positive and equitable for all racial groups, social classes, and genders? You can see the outlines here and there if you look closely.

However, there are also the forgotten conflicts in Africa and the Middle East, as well as the recent conflict in Europe. Every continent is experiencing starvation and famine. And, as is frequently the case with humanity, we neglected to prevent the evil of bigotry, prejudice, and dictatorship.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Huxley used the concept of his dystopian society as a jab at other authors of utopian novels that were so well-liked at the time. Dystopian novels are highly popular in the YA book genre here in the third decade of the twenty-first century. I invite you to spend a few minutes on political Twitter, where there are many folks who claim that we have entered a dismal other reality at some point.

Now let’s explore some news. Perhaps that will be useful:

It is an amazing story of tenacity despite facing disasters. At the same time, it is a demonstration of how fast people are able to adapt and do something extraordinary. That is, exceptionally good.

2 – Are NFTs Our Economy’s Future? A Few Thoughts from Professor Galloway

We’re not sure how Zuck will incorporate this new feature into his Frankenstein product structure because the release was a word vomit of cliches.

After reading about magazine publishers entering NFTs, I couldn’t help but shake my (d*mn) head, wondering how we got here.

The author’s incredibly straightforward explanation appeared in my Friday feed. I ended myself on a tangent that taught me a few more things, as I occasionally do when I come across an interesting piece of writing.

Will NFTs be effective? They could. Are they a part of Web 3.0’s future? Perhaps. The biggest issue that I see is whether there will be a chance for everybody to participate or it will just be another thing under the control of the same few individuals that don’t want to share anything.

Although I knew about his “Dragonsteel Books” company, I was unaware of his prior experience with Kickstarters or the extent of his merchandising skills (yes, I love sci-fi and fantasy, but not that much!). This article from Gizmodo led me to the blog of John Scalzi, another author I adore. As a skilled writer, he articulated what some of my study on this issue was telling me far more effectively.

4 – Axios Local Is Still Growing. However, where?

‘Smart Brevity’ will soon be coming to a town near you, as per Axios Local. It has grown from 14 to 25 cities till the end of 2022 – www.editorandpublisher.com Local media may feel threatened by Axios, as it is in 14 cities now and plans on adding 11 more cities before the end of the year.

The fact that Axios is investing in local news is fantastic, in my opinion. I try to open the Axios Chicago newsletter each day.

But I have to ask: Is it appropriate that major media firms are investing in locations with active local media and engaged clientele? Consider making an investment in places without local media.

5 – McKinsey Report: Since the start of the pandemic, consumer behaviour has changed significantly

Retail is being transformed by the five zeroes | McKinsey

Consumers nowadays demand much more than just value and convenience and are not as forgiving of flaws as before.

You may have seen this headline and thought, “Oh, yeah.” ” However, the report is captivating.

Citing a McKinsey report was the last thing I ever anticipated doing. However, in this instance, I can honestly state that some of the elements in this study align well with my own personal experience.
