Car Insurance
Car Insurance
You who own a car must have traffic insurance. It compensates for personal injuries and some damage to property. If the insurance is to cover damage to your own car, half or full insurance is needed.
Traffic insurance is mandatory. The only exception is if the car is registered in the road traffic register (VTR).
A semi-insurance usually contains traffic, theft, fire, glass, all-perils, machine, rescue, and legal protection insurance. Full insurance consists of both half insurance and carriage damage insurance. Vehicle damage insurance pays for damage to your own car, for example in the event of a traffic accident or vandalism.
With some insurance companies, you can take out large policies that contain extra protection in addition to the usual full or half insurance. Others instead give you the opportunity to take out standard insurance as a basis and then choose different add-ons. You can also choose to take out extra protection with specialized companies that only provide a limited range, such as assistance insurance.
