Eng. Taha Khalifa Takes Role as Intel’s General Manager for MEA Region

Intel has recently appointed Eng. Taha Khalifa as the new General Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, a role that underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies. With over 25 years of experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, Taha Khalifa brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of the region’s business landscape to his new position. His extensive background includes holding key senior roles across engineering, strategic planning, sales, and management at Intel, both in the United States and in EMEA. Prior to this appointment, Taha served as the Client Computing Group Sales Director for Intel in EMEA, where he played a pivotal role in leading the execution of Intel’s client strategy, as well as driving growth in the commercial segment.

In his new role as General Manager for MEA, Taha Khalifa will be responsible for overseeing the execution of Intel’s comprehensive strategy across the diverse and dynamic ecosystem of customers, partners, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and distributors in the region. His leadership will be instrumental in aligning Intel’s objectives with the evolving digital transformation agendas of governments and industry leaders in the Middle East and Africa, ensuring that Intel’s technologies and solutions are deeply integrated into the region’s growth strategies.
