AW Rostamani Group (AWR), a prominent conglomerate and the official distributor of ZEEKR in the UAE, has announced ZEEKR’s collaboration with ZeeArts Gallery for the “Mobility and Sustainability through Arts” initiative. This partnership was a key feature of the American University of Sharjah (AUS) Giving Campaign, an initiative designed to unite communities in support of education and the next generation of leaders. The campaign specifically focuses on providing scholarships for AUS students, including those with disabilities and those facing financial or social challenges.

The initiative was inspired by Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of AUS, who is a strong advocate for youth empowerment through education and engagement. By combining the creative mediums of art and design, the campaign aimed to highlight the importance of sustainable mobility in building a greener future while promoting a mobile and sustainable lifestyle. Through this initiative, ZEEKR reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and education, reflecting its dedication to creating a brighter and more sustainable future.

Cannon Wang, Regional Managing Director of ZEEKR Middle East & Africa, expressed excitement about supporting the AUS Giving Campaign through this unique initiative. He emphasized ZEEKR’s broader mission to go beyond offering premium electric mobility solutions by actively fostering education and sustainability within the communities it serves. By integrating art and technology, ZEEKR aimed to inspire students to imagine and contribute to a sustainable future. Wang also highlighted the collaboration with ZeeArts Gallery as a testament to ZEEKR’s dedication to empowering young individuals and driving meaningful change.

Roberto Colucci, Director of Electric Mobility at ZEEKR AWR, shared his pride in participating in such a transformative initiative. He noted that ZEEKR AWR strives to inspire younger generations by promoting sustainability through art and innovative design. According to Colucci, ZEEKR’s models are crafted with a seamless blend of aesthetics and technology to redefine the concept of mobility. He added that AW Rostamani Group holds education in high regard and supports initiatives that offer quality opportunities, such as scholarships that empower individuals to unlock their potential.

Dr. Tod Laursen, Chancellor of AUS, emphasized the importance of the “Mobility and Sustainability through Arts” initiative in advancing the university’s mission to create inclusive and transformative opportunities for students. He highlighted the integration of art, technology, and sustainable practices as a powerful way to address global challenges while equipping students with the tools to become future leaders and innovators. The initiative, he added, underscores AUS’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment that enables students to excel and contribute meaningfully to shaping a sustainable world.

The AUS Giving Campaign culminated on November 13 with a live painting event that brought together renowned artist ShahulHameed Saludheen and over 30 AUS students. Together, they created a three-meter mural symbolizing progress and sustainable growth. This unique piece of art was auctioned under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, with proceeds going towards AUS scholarships.

Adding to the event’s significance, students had the chance to interact with ZEEKR and explore its latest models, including the ZEEKR X and ZEEKR 001. These activities allowed students to not only engage with cutting-edge electric mobility solutions but also build memorable experiences during the campaign. Through this initiative, ZEEKR and AW Rostamani Group underscored their shared commitment to education, sustainability, and community empowerment.
