Traveling during the holidays can be both exciting and arduous – that is understating it! Let me ease one concern off your plate now – flying with ORORO HEATED APPAREL is possible! When my family was traveling from Cleveland, Ohio back home I knew it would be freezing so brought my ORORO Heated Jacket just in case when we landed – although TSA can sometimes make this an ordeal!

TSA made my experience seamless! All that was necessary to pass was going through them normally and placing my jacket in one of their bins to send through, without taking out either battery. No issues at all — so thankful I wasn’t left without heated jacket when arriving in Ohio due to TSA!

Consider these additional points when travelling with ORORO heated apparel.

Always carry all ororo batteries with you; do not check them with TSA Pre-Check security scanner. Lithium-Ion batteries must remain carry-on items only and CAN be worn through TSA Pre-Check without taking it off; however the battery MUST come out of any pockets on our heated apparel before passing through security scanner. Our heated clothing CAN pass through without issue but the battery MUST come out from its pocket before passing security inspection – our heated apparel does not have this limitation, however the pocket MUST come off of it before going through TSA Pre-Check security scanner without taking off (but please note a battery must come out from within its pocket once passthrough).

Stepping outside for the first time into cold climate was like being hit with an icy blast to my chest – until I remembered I have a heated jacket! As soon as I turned it on preheat mode, my body immediately started warming up; and each time since wearing this piece of apparel has truly and pleasantly surprised me in its speed of heating up!

After searching through a parking lot to locate our rental car, I switched my jacket’s heat setting from High to Medium due to car heat being activated; once we started driving I kept it at Low until arriving at my mom’s house!
