In today’s fast-paced food industry, efficiency, product quality, and adaptability are more important than ever. As consumer demand for high-quality frozen foods continues to rise, food processors are seeking innovative solutions that deliver consistent results while optimizing space and resources. Enter the Edge Drive Spiral Freezer—a game-changer for meat, poultry, seafood, vegetable, and baked goods manufacturers.

What Sets the Edge Drive Spiral Freezer Apart?

The Edge Drive Spiral Freezer is engineered to deliver continuous, uniform freezing at high production capacities, all within a compact footprint. Its space-saving spiral design is ideal for facilities where every square meter counts, maximizing throughput without compromising on product quality.

Uniform Freezing, Every Time One of the standout features of the Edge Drive Spiral Freezer is its ability to freeze each product piece uniformly, regardless of its position on the conveyor belt. This is achieved through a combination of horizontal airflow and independently adjustable temperature, air circulation, and conveyor speed—all managed by a PLC touchscreen control system. The result? Consistent product quality, batch after batch.

Flexible Configurations for Any Plant With over 65,000 possible infeed/outfeed configurations, the Edge Drive Spiral Freezer can be tailored to match virtually any plant layout or product mix. For operations with diverse product lines, the freezer can be equipped with up to four belts in a single spiral, each with independent freezing control. This flexibility allows processors to run multiple SKUs or accommodate allergen-free and organic lines simultaneously.

Designed for Hygiene and Efficiency The Edge Drive Spiral Freezer is built with food safety and operational efficiency in mind. Its stainless steel construction, insulated cabinet, and absence of an internal drum drive make cleaning straightforward and effective. The stainless steel floor with integrated drain further simplifies sanitation, helping facilities meet the highest hygiene standards.
