Today I’ve rounded up 10 of the most famous and prominent logo designers and their top corporate brands. Some of them are no longer with us, but their masterpieces are eternal. Let’s pay tribute to their hard work. So, let’s begin.
1 Saul Bass
Saul Bass (1920–1996) was a famous 20th century designer. He was well known for developing film titles. His credits include Bell Telephone System Communications, United Airlines, AT&T, Minolta, and Warner.

2. Paul Rand
Paul Rand (1914–1996) was a prominent American-born designer. He was recognized as the best corporate style designer. Some of his works are the logos for ABC, IBM and UPS.

3. Alan Fletcher
Gerard Alan Fletcher (1931 – 2006) British graphic designer. The Daily Telegraph describes him as “the most valuable graphic designer of his generation, and probably one of the most prolific.” One of his logos that is known to many is the Reuters logo in 1965, consisting of 84 dots. His “V&A” logo for the Victoria and Albert Museum designed in 1989 and his “IoD” logo for the Institute of Directors are still in use today.

4 Sagi Haviv
Sagi Haviv, partner of Chermayeff & Geismar, 34-year-old designer. Among his projects are the emblem of the New York Harbor National Parks, Radio Free Europe, the Library of Congress, and the well-known fashion brand Armani Exchange.

5. Walter Landor
Landor Walter (1913–1995) German designer born in Munich. Landor became famous for the creative design of the FedEx logo. His FedEx logo is considered one of the best logos in the world.

6. Herbert Lubalin
Herbert F. Lubalin (1918 -1981) was a renowned US designer. Herbert is best known for the Marriage logo, created in 1965 and the Families logo designed in 1980.

7 Chermayeff & Geismar:
Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar are two Yale students from the mid-1950s. Chermayeff & Geismar Inc are the creators of many well-known trademarks and corporate identities. Some of their most prestigious work is on the Mobil, Time Warner, Viacom, and Xerox logos.

8 Wally Olins
Wally Olins recognized as the world’s most accomplished practitioner of corporate identity and branding. Wally was nominated for the Prince Philip Award in 1999 and received the Royal Society of Arts Medal “for his tireless efforts in the design industry”.

9. Gerard Huerta
Gerard Huerta is the owner of one of the most versatile portfolios. Not many logo designers get the opportunity to apply their skills to fields as vast as Gerard Huerta. His notable works include: Swiss Army Brands, Calvin Klein’s Eternity, MSG Network, CBS Records Masterworks, Atlantic Monthly and PC Magazine.

10. Raymond Loewy
Raymond Loewy (1893 – 1986) is recognized as one of the best industrial designers of the 20th century. In 1971 he designed the Shell logo that is still used today. He also created old logos for British Petroleum and Exxon.
