Applications of Lenticular Printing

tech .

Lenticular printing is a process that requires multiple steps. Steps consist of creating the lenticular image from a minimum of 2 images and placing them behind the lenticular lens. It is mainly used at different increments for offsetting the various layers, For creating various frames of animation And adding effects of motion and depth to show a set of different images that appear one after another or in the transformation that comes one after another to show a 3D effect.

First, images are collected and arranged in their particular frame files and then digitally combined into one single file; this process is known as interlacing. Next, the images which are interlaced can be printed directly on the smooth side that is the back of the lens, or on a substrate side that is limited to the lens that is ideally the synthetic paper. To avoid poor imagery or ghosting, a process is followed during the screen printing or lithography. That is to do the compulsory registration of every slice of the interlaced image correctly.
