Swiss deep tech startup Apheros has recently secured $1.85 million in a pre-seed funding round to further develop its groundbreaking metal foam technology for cooling data centers. Founded in August 2023 and emerging from ETH Zurich, Apheros is tackling a critical issue in the data center industry: the soaring energy consumption associated with cooling systems.
