MediaTek has unveiled four new automotive systems-on-chip (SoCs) under its Dimensity Auto Cockpit lineup at NVIDIA GTC. Named Dimensity Auto Cockpit CX-1, CY-1, CM-1, and CV-1, these chipsets are engineered to deliver advanced AI-driven experiences within vehicle cabins, catering to a wide spectrum of vehicles from luxury to budget-friendly segments.

The Dimensity Auto Cockpit chipsets are specifically crafted to harness deep-learning capabilities, featuring an advanced ARM v9-A system alongside NVIDIA’s next-generation GPU accelerated AI computing and NVIDIA RTX graphics. This AI-powered platform empowers vehicles to execute complex tasks locally, facilitating functionalities like chatbots, seamless content delivery across multiple displays, driver fatigue detection, and various state-of-the-art AI-driven safety and entertainment applications.

The Dimensity Auto Cockpit CX-1, CY-1, CM-1, and CV-1 chipsets offer a highly integrated solution that reduces bill-of-material costs for automakers. Equipped with a multi-camera HDR ISP, these chipsets support various safety applications, including front-facing, in-cabin, and bird’s-eye-view cameras. Moreover, the integrated audio DSP supports voice assistants, enabling drivers to interact with their infotainment system hands-free.
