BitPowr has finally launched in Nigeria, providing businesses with blockchain infrastructure
Bitpowr officially launched operations after nine months in stealth mode. It is a platform that provides businesses and organizations looking to scale their operations with blockchain wallet and digital asset solutions.
Toby Oyetoke, CEO and CTO of BitPowr, built the platform to enable other startups to scale their operations without having to focus on time and money-consuming Blockchain integration.
Wallets and Payment API
Bitpowr offers Wallet API, a comprehensive wallet management solution that enables businesses to easily create and manage various types of wallets for various blockchains and use cases.
With Bitpowr, you can easily create multi-currency wallets containing your favorite cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
The Bitpowr wallet can be used to send and receive cryptocurrency, to save, to build your exchange, to conduct crypto banking, and to conduct other digital businesses.
Businesses can accept cryptocurrency payments with little to no setup required through the payments API.
There are some products on the market that incorporate some of these APIs, but the challenge is that they do not meet all of these businesses' requirements. While some businesses require the use of multiple APIs to accomplish their goals, BitPowr is an all-encompassing, tailor-made product that enables crypto-enabled businesses to scale and thrive at an affordable price.
Who is eligible to use Bitpowr?
Bitpowr is available to fintech companies interested in developing exchanges or peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms. Also, it is available for retail platforms that wish to integrate crypto payments into their payment system, as well as businesses that wish to accept crypto as a form of payment and manage their assets.
Additionally, the platform claims to provide businesses with data privacy and web security through the use of a variety of cryptosystem layers, including Multi-Party Computation, Threshold Cryptography, and Nacl Box Public Key Cryptography.
These, in turn, ensure a high level of security, resilience, and availability for businesses.
Bitpowr platform users are expected to pay a $100 monthly maintenance fee. Subscriptions to the platform will then be determined by monthly transaction volume, with the higher the monthly transaction volume, the lower the percentage remitted.
Expansion strategies
Bitpowr, which has emerged from stealth mode with clients in Nigeria and Cameroon, intends to expand to other African countries by the second quarter of 2022.
