FaajiApp helps users in locating concerts, social hangouts and parties taking place in their immediate vicinity

The human desire for involvement is insatiable, and it must be fed on a continual basis. The ability to feel delighted and dramatically improve one's mood is a key component of having positive social relationships, which contribute to better mental health.

With so many exciting activities and entertaining sites to choose from, it can be difficult to decide where to go and which activities will best suit one's own interests and preferences.

An answer is being sought by a Nigerian business, Faaji, which is investigating a pleasant way for people to make social connections and attend events that are appropriate for their personalities.

Individuals can use the Faaji app to connect with events taking place in their city, such as concerts, home parties, beach parties, raves, and more, allowing them to turn their dreams of having a fun-filled December and beyond into a possibility.

According to Ayo Olagunju, co-founder and product manager of FaajiApp, the platform is more than just a ticketing tool, as is the case with other platforms. It simply has the power to connect consumers with the type of experience they are looking for.

He claimed that the organization recognizes that human attention spans are short and that it aims to provide engaging spots that cater to every pressing social want.

How does the platform function?

Faaji provides its consumers with a straightforward method of locating the unique social engagement they desire by recommending events based on the matching interests they indicate on the Faaji mobile application.

Upon registration, the Faaji app asks which animal best represents the user's party style, and then needs each user to fill out an interest form, which is subsequently used to promote events.

According to the company, the application connects consumers with an experience that they were previously unaware of. It links them with people who have distinct interests at that particular time, saving them the time and effort of searching for an event in other ways.

It allows the user to see all of the options and then to click on them to find out additional information about the event such as the time, location, description, what to expect, ticket price, and how many people have registered.

Users will also be able to receive real-time information on the status of the event, depending on attendance, performances, and general activity, once the mobile app is made available for download.

If a person chooses an event, it claims that they will be given the opportunity to create an account, and they will be directed to the checkout page if the event is ticketed. An email is sent to the user confirming their participation in the event and providing them with the necessary access code.

Founded during the Pandemic

Ayo Olagunju and Moyo Ajibade co-founded the Faaji App in November 2020, a few months after many businesses began to embrace the work-from-home concept and individuals began to yearn for social interaction and interaction.

The app is intended to facilitate the meeting of like-minded individuals rather than the assembly of dispersed minds, as the name implies.

People who share common interests have more enjoyment together than a group of dispersed people, according to the study.

Founded in partnership with Femi Bamidele, Rex Ijiekhuamen, and CJ Mac-Eze, who are now all members of the Faaji team, the brand began as a way to bring together people who shared a passion for fashion. Individuals can add events they intend to attend and locate others who share their interests through the app, which serves as a central center for them.

This company's purpose is to provide individuals with "enjoyment," which is a phrase from the Yoruba language that translates as "enjoyment." They do, however, make an effort to extend their understanding of what it means to be entertained.

"No two people have the same definition of what it means to be happy. Consequently, we hope to offer a variety of events in the future, ranging from salsa dancing to yoga lessons, fencing to quad riding, and a variety of other intriguing activities that the general public is not aware of, among other things ".....

There are plans for a mobile application

As of now, the Faaji app can only be accessed through the company's website; however, the company has stated plans to introduce a mobile application in the first quarter of 2022.

The firm claims to have expanded the capability of the mobile app by 70% and plans to release the results as soon as the necessary modifications have been completed and approved. Also stated is that it is going through a learning process in order to better understand how users interact with the platform as well as the platform's specific product-market fit. "As soon as those things have been authenticated, we make them available to our customers."

Pricing strategies

Faaji is currently available for no charge to any and all customers. In spite of the fact that there are no fees involved with using the app, it employs a markup pricing system on all tickets advertised on its platform.

Because the corporation does not wish to exploit people, it has integrated additional revenue streams such as advertising, partner programs, and a number of other models into its products, according to the firm.

With the purpose of subsidizing cab rates for events for which tickets were purchased through the app, the company is also revamping its web platforms.
