How do I Create a Poll on Twitch
How do I Create a Poll on Twitch
To create a Twitch poll, enter the command "/poll" into the chat window. To initiate polls, only the broadcaster or stream moderators have the authority to do so. For a streamer to be able to participate in polls, they must be an affiliate or a Twitch partner.
When the /poll command is issued, the poll creation menu will be displayed on the screen.
Using the poll menu, you can create a custom question as well as multiple voting options for it. Additionally, you can allow viewers to cast multiple votes by utilizing channel points or bits in your system.
After you've entered all of the requirements, you'll need to specify a time frame for when you want to complete the project. The "Start Poll" button can then be used to begin the process of creating the Twitch survey.
Once a poll has been created, a banner containing the proposed question will appear above the chat room discussion. Viewers must click on the banner in order to be able to access the voting options.
Delete a Poll
To remove a poll from the server, use the "/deletepoll" command. By deleting a poll, the poll that is currently active will be completely removed from the system. The results will not be published or finalized until after the study is completed.
End a Poll
Twitch polls can be terminated by using the "/endpoll" command. Following confirmation, the poll will be closed and users will no longer be able to participate. The final poll results will be displayed at the top of the Twitch chat stream for all viewers to see.
How to Start a Twitch Poll with Quick Actions
Instant adjustments and actions are available to streamers with a single click thanks to the Quick Actions feature. When compared to using a chat command, using quick actions to initiate a poll is significantly faster than using a chat command. Unfortunately, streamers and editors are the only ones who can access the quick actions menu.
The quick actions menu can be found on the stream manager's page as well. Detailed information about your account can be found in the Twitch creator dashboard. Editors can get to the stream managers page by going to the streamer's web address on their computer.
If the editor navigates to their own stream manager page, they will be able to modify the URL to include the names of the streamers. Following the submission of the new URL, the broadcaster's dashboard will be displayed on the screen.
It is necessary to include the function "Manage Your Poll" in the quick actions menu. You can add any available action to your menu by selecting it and clicking the plus sign. It is not possible to participate in the poll if you are a Twitch affiliate or partner.
You can view poll results and create a new Twitch poll by selecting the "Manage Poll" quick action from the menu bar. The poll interface will appear, allowing you to customize the title of the poll as well as the response options available.
Twitch Quick Actions and Polls can be imported into OBS Studio
Custom browser docks allow streamers to integrate their Twitch actions menu into OBS Studio, allowing them to broadcast from anywhere in the world. To create a fully customizable streaming interface that is entirely contained within OBS, simply snap browser documents into place.
1. The quick actions panel should be visible by default if you navigate to the stream manager page in the first place. By clicking the pencil icon at the top of the interface, you can change the appearance of quick actions if necessary.
2. Select "Pop-out" from the quick actions menu by clicking on the three dots at the top of the screen. This will open a new browser window with the actions panel displayed in it.
3. Select the web address and copy it to your clipboard by selecting it and pressing the copy button. The pop-out window should be closed after the address has been saved.
To begin, open OBS and navigate to the menu items for view, docks, and customized browser docks. I am hoping that a new window will open up.
5. Give a name to the blank box that appears beneath the Dock Name heading. There is no significance to the name in any way.
6. In the URL section, paste the web address for the quick actions you want to perform and hit "Apply."
After that, your new dock will open, and you may be prompted to sign in with your Twitch credentials. Following that, the dock can be dragged and snapped into place within OBS. All actions will be fully functional via the newly added dock, which will be accessible from any location.
