Technext to host Africa’s biggest cryptocurrency gathering, Coinference 2021
Technext, a Lagos-based technology media organization, has announced its maiden event, Technext Coinference 2021. This event will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Pistis conference center in Lagos, Nigeria. A physical audience of at least 1,500 people and a virtual audience of at least 3,000 people are expected to attend, making it the largest gathering of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, innovators, and policymakers in Africa so far. The event will serve as a visible platform for key players in Africa's blockchain technology ecosystem and cryptocurrency enthusiasts to discuss the potential of cryptocurrencies and position themselves for future leverage.
Technext's Content Chief, David Afolayan, has stated that recent events in Africa have reaffirmed the criticality of providing a platform that inspires, enables, and connects crypto enthusiasts across the continent.
He continued, "As a technology-driven media company focused on providing people-oriented content and on contributing to Africa's growth, our mission is to facilitate a timely conversation that will enable regulators, innovators, and enthusiasts to find a common ground that will enable the cryptocurrency space to grow geometrically."
Among the speakers who will share their insightful thoughts and inspire attendees to take advantage of cryptocurrency's numerous benefits will be a distinguished group of influential figures. A number of other confirmed speakers include Dickson Nsofor, CEO of Kora, Uzoma Dozie, CEO and founder of Sparkle, Ruth Iselema, CEO of Bitmama, and Chimezie Chuta, founder of the Blockchain Nigeria User Group.
Attendees can expect to hear presentations and participate in discussions about the impact of regulation on the cryptocurrency industry. Among the sessions will be one titled "Regulation: Untangling the Knots," which will be moderated by senior industry executives and representatives from key regulators such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria (SEC). Additionally, the discussion will center on the creation of an enabling regulatory environment for ecosystem growth, as well as the practical steps that all stakeholders must take in order to achieve that environment.
There will then be a keynote address and panel discussion on Blockchain for Africa: The Endless Possibilities, which will take place immediately after that. In this session, innovators will discuss the potential of cryptocurrency in Africa, as well as how attendees can position themselves for future leverage.
Aside from that, the Technext Coinference will serve as a visible platform for key players in Africa's blockchain technology ecosystem to connect with an audience of young, enthusiastic, and prepared Africans who will be gathered in one place. Aside from that, it will provide an exciting opportunity for crypto enthusiasts to network and develop ideas, as well as position themselves for future gains.
This will be a multi-media presentation (a combination of physical and virtual participation). Therefore, individuals from all over the world will be able to register to attend the conference in December. Furthermore, it is open to the public and is completely free to attend.
