Tony Xu, co-founder and CEO of Doordash, has been appointed to the board of directors of Meta, according to a press release issued by Facebook's parent company, Facebook. On November 20, 2020, Xu was appointed chairman of the company's board of directors, following his appointment as the company's chief executive officer in 2013. Xu's appointment, according to Meta, is effective immediately. With the addition of Xu to the board of directors, Meta's board of directors now has a total of ten members.
