What do you get when you cross Vimeo + TikTok? A potential business hit

Vimeo and TikTok have announced a new partnership in response to the increasing number of businesses using short-form videos to reach their customers.

Through the partnership, Vimeo's powerful video tools will be integrated with the TikTok platform, allowing small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to create effective video advertisements that will better engage their customers.

Participants in pre-release tests of the combined capabilities of both companies experienced clickthrough rates that were up to 50% higher than those experienced in previous campaigns launched on other platforms, according to the results of the tests. Business owners were simultaneously able to more than double the number of videos they produced in a short period of time thanks to this latest integration.

In a press release, Vimeo's SVP of business development, Richard Bloom, explained how the new partnership can assist small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in reaching customers, saying:

"When it comes to reaching customers, one of the most significant pain points for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) is how to easily and affordably create professional-quality content at scale. Vimeo and TikTok are solving this problem. As the first video creation platform to integrate with TikTok For Business, we are thrilled to be able to broaden the reach of Vimeo Create, enabling more businesses to engage even more customers online." 

 

TikTok Marketing Partners

Video sharing platform Vimeo has become the latest company to join TikTok Marketing Partners, which is comprised of a group of vetted experts who design, implement, and measure TikTok ad campaigns on a global scale.

Although it is the first partner to receive a badge under TikTok's all-new Creative Tools subcategory of Creative Partners, the company is the first to do so. TikTok's Creative Tools subcategory of Creative Partners is comprised of companies that assist brands in producing creative assets by leveraging TikTok's best practices.

As a result of this first-of-its-kind collaboration between a social media company and a video software company, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) can now use Vimeo's artificial intelligence video production tool Vimeo Create to create and publish ads directly into the TikTok Ad Manager in minutes. The two companies have also collaborated on the development of custom video templates that are only available in Vimeo Create and are optimized for the short-form video platform TikTok.
