Angular4 Course And Certification
What is Angular4?
Angular4 is a later version of AngularJS web application development framework that is developed for building web applications and apps with JavaScript, HTML, and TypeScript (which is a superset of JavaScript).
Angular comes with built-in features for HTTP service, animation, and materials which on their own has features such as auto-complete, navigation bar, toolbar, pop up's, carousel, menus, etc. The code is first written in TypeScript, and then it is compiled to JavaScript so it can be displayed on the browser.
AngularJS is an open-source web development framework that is developed and maintained by Google. It joins together declarative templates, dependency injection, end-to-end tooling, and integrated best software development practices to solve various development challenges. It is regularly updated to make its use easier and to increase the productivity of the developer.
There are three major releases of AngularJs. The first version that was released is known as Angular1, which is also referred to as AngularJS. Angular1 was followed by Angular2, which brought in a lot of changes and new features when compared to Angular1.
The structure of Angular is based on the architecture of components and services. AngularJS was based on the MVC (model view controller) architecture. Angular 4 released in March 2017, has proved to be a major breakthrough and is the current release from the Angular team after the release of Angular2.
Angular 4 has almost the same features as seen in Angular 2. Its codes are "backward compatibility" with Angular 2 meaning that projects developed in Angular 2 will work with Angular 4 without any issues.
Features of Angular 4
There are many features of Angular 4 and some of them are:
1. Router ParamMap: Before the release of Angular 4, Router parameters were saved in a key-value object structure, but with Angular 4 it is now possible to query a ParamMap directly in the router itself.
2. TypeScript Compatibility: Angular 4 offers support to recent versions of TypeScript, 2.1 and 2.2 and it has an improved Type Security throughout the application and this speeds up the rate of NGC-Compiler.
3. Animations Package: In the previous versions of Angular, there was an issue with the angular/core module, the issue was that functions were included in the part of code that is irrespective of whether the animations are used or not. So, in Angular 4, the function is now added into its own package to avoid load time on the app.
4. Dynamic Components: In Angular Js, dynamic web components are developed in a declarative way with the new * ngComponentOutlet-Directive. previously, with ComponentFactory, it took lots of work on development to run the web components dynamically at runtime.
5. Angular Universal: Angular 4 allows you to render your Angular applications directly with the webserver on Angular Universal. For Angular Universal, Angular developers no longer need to use JavaScript to render dynamic content, so the websites are optimized faster to be displayed on search engines.
6. Smaller and Quick: Since the Angular 4 web development code takes up lesser disk space, it runs faster when compared to previous versions like AngularJS and Angular 2. The developer is regularly making additional improvements to make sure it is faster and smoother.
Benefits of Angular 4
There are many benefits of Angular 4 and some of them are:
1. Angular 4 comes with two-way data binding for your application.
2. Angular 4 lets you add dynamic content with its directives.
3. With Angular 4, you could use injectors that describe your third party dependencies as external elements.
4. Angular 4 has a large developer community so you can easily get help in any Angular development situation.
