Individuals who wish to pursue the Azure Administrator Associate certification should have extensive experience in the areas of implementation, management, and monitoring of Microsoft Azure environments.
This position's responsibilities include implementing, managing, and monitoring identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment, as well as provisioning, sizing, monitoring, and adjusting resources as needed. Other responsibilities include ensuring that the cloud environment is secure.
Typically, an Azure administrator works as part of a bigger team that is responsible for establishing the cloud architecture of a particular firm.
For this certification, a candidate must have at least six months of practical hands-on experience administering Azure, in addition to a thorough understanding of the cloud computing platform's core services, Azure workloads, security, and governance. In addition, this position should have previous familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, the Azure interface, and Azure Resource Manager template creation.

Each Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator costs $165.00 USD plus taxes (for residents of the United States) and INR 4800 plus taxes (for residents of India). This fee is paid to Microsoft at the time of exam registration after taking our online training and certification of completion.
Period of Validation
This certification is valid at the sole discretion of Microsoft. Retired certifications (i.e. certifications for technologies that are no longer in use) are added to a candidate's transcript in the retired section.
Azure exams are available in a number of different languages. English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian are all available for the exams. Individuals who are required to take the test in English but are not comfortable with the language may appeal for additional time.
