Eligibility For The ICAI Foundation Exam 2024
Under CA Foundation eligibility rules, students who have taken and passed class 12 exams established or recognized by the Central Government can register with this foundation.
Due to delays in the release of Class 12th results by Central and State Boards, ICAI has modified its eligibility criteria and now permits provisional registration of students who have yet to pass their exams.
ICAI now allows students who pass Class 10th examinations to preliminarily register for the CA Foundation course after passing.
Moreover, graduates and post-graduates aspiring to become CAs may register directly for the CA Intermediate exam through the Direct Entry System. So students do not have to appear for the ICAI Foundation exam.
Foundation Subjects
The CA Foundation exam comprises four subjects: accounting, business law, mathematics, and economics. The ICAI releases the syllabus for its CA Foundation course students every year—see below.

- 2. Business Law
- 3. Quantitative Aptitude

- B: Logical Reasoning Syllabus

You have a duration of four months to complete the syllabus.
