Adspace.ng is preparing to rebrand the face of advertising in the country of Nigeria

Because of the rapid growth and increasing importance of advertising in the Nigerian economy, it is expected that positive change and rebranding will occur, which will be technologically compliant, in order to provide room for growth and greater results in the coming years.

As a result, the reason for the establishment of Adspace.ng was discovered. It is this newly launched initiative that exemplifies the kind of advancement that a technologically oriented society should strive for.

It is the vision of Kunle Yakubu, the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adspace.ng that the company will rebrand the face of advertising in Nigeria by streamlining and simplifying the advertising process.

Although the CEO acknowledged the importance of advertising technology in the marketplace, he also stated that change is constant and that, with the implementation of technology in a variety of industries, it was only a matter of time before some sort of change occurred in the advertising industry itself.

He shed light on the difficulties that advertisers have faced in relation to the concept that inspired the creation of Adspace.ng.

It has been difficult for most SMEs and advertisers to run campaigns because they lack access to the data they require in order to make informed decisions about how to reach their target market and the estimated cost of running a campaign.

“There is also the issue of locating the contact information for media owners and figuring out how to negotiate a fair price with them directly. These factors prompted the development of an online marketplace where advertisers could find, negotiate and book advertisement spaces, thereby cutting down on the time and cost associated with deploying an advertisement anywhere,” he explained.

Closer with technology

He emphasized that the company's mission is to bring advertisers and media owners closer together through technology.

Yakubu stated that the platform is aimed at increasing the advertising market capitalization of Nigeria by providing access to foreign companies interested in expanding into the Nigerian market; providing SMEs and Startups with a relevant tool that will help them grow and make advertising a smooth and easy process; and providing a relevant tool that will help them grow and make advertising a smooth and easy process.

A lot of processes are involved in running a commercial whether it is on the radio, on television, on a billboard or through online influencers, according to him, from finding the right advertisement space within a predetermined budget to the negotiation process and even monitoring the advertisement to ensure that it is deployed as agreed.

Yakubu revealed that media owners and partners can download the application, which is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple/iOS app store, register, and list their available advert spaces with prices, which in turn gives customers access to over 5000 advert spaces.

He went on to explain that the platform is applicable to all types of media, including billboards, television, radio, newspapers, cinemas, magazines, and influencers, among other things.

“The media owners will be able to set the availability of their advertisement spaces directly from the mobile app,” says the developer. Therefore, even if the advert space is sold outside of the adspace.ng platform, they will be able to inform advertisers that the advert space is no longer available through the platform.

According to him, this helps to reduce situations in which advertisers call to enquire about locations that are not available for the period during which they want to run their advertisements, resulting in time savings.

What is in store for Adspace.ng subscribers

Yakubu asserted that the audience who subscribes to Adspace.ng will save a significant amount of time, energy, and financial resources.

Adspace.ng users save an average of 20 percent on their advertising costs when they run their campaigns through the platform." Individuals who register as agents will have the opportunity to earn a residual income by assisting advertisers in using the platform to run their campaigns.”

He went on to say that advertisers will quickly realize that adspace.ng is a platform that will save them a great deal of energy, time, and money, and that they will eventually use it as their primary source for finding, negotiating, and booking advertisement space.

In addition, individuals who intend to work as media buyers or agents were urged to make use of adspace.ng to order and deploy advertisements across a variety of media types on behalf of their clients.

As a result, he explained, “the workload will be reduced while they will still be able to generate revenue through the use of the platform.”

When asked about his expectations for the platform over the next five years, he stated the following:

We hope that within the next five years, adspace.ng will be the most trusted platform for advertisers to run their 360-degree advertising campaigns. Also on the table is the expansion into other African markets, such as Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya.”
