How to Enable Virtual Desk Gestures on Chrome OS
What is Virtual Desk Gestures
Virtual Desk Gestures in Chrome OS is a new feature that has been added to Chrome OS to allow for easy and quick gestures for navigating across the upcoming virtual desktops in Chrome OS.
Chrome OS is a Linux kernel-based software operating system that was designed and developed by Google. It is derived from the free open source software Chromium OS and it makes use of the Google Chrome web browser as its primary user interface.
The newest addition to the feature would basically, make use of swipe lift gestures when those gestures are triggered by swiping four fingers across the trackpad all at once, or presumably across the screen for those who make use of Chrome OS tablets. The gestures, as that is shown in a code file which is attached to the new addition, will work in a left or right binary method, with the user’s swiping to the left or right to make forward and backward movement across their open desktops
Virtual desktops, which Google refers to as Virtual Desks, let you separate the desktop screen into several workspaces on which you can organize your applications and windows. Chrome OS allows you to open up to four Desks at the same time that you can quickly switch to and fro between.
Now that the Virtual Desks feature has become a Stable Chrome OS channel, users have finally received the capability to switch between desks by using trackpad gestures. However, to make use of gestures, you have to enable a hidden flag. Here’s how.
Before you enable any flags, it is important to note that most of these features are not stable and are still a work that is currently in progress. As a result, flags can cause your browser or your computer to misbehave or to become unstable and the more flags you activate, the higher the chances of this occuring.
You should also note that Google can take away or modify any of these features at any time, so it’s best not to get too addicted to it. This flag, in particular, has already moved away from a three-finger swipe to a four-finger swipe as to not disturb or interfere with tab-swipe gestures.

Type “Virtual desks gestures” into the browser search bar, next, click on the drop-down list that is next to it and then choose the “Enabled” option from the list of choices that are available.

For the changes to take effect on your Chrome OS, you must restart your device. That’s all that there is to it.
