KB4-CON EMEA will work with organizations to improve their human firewalls

It will be an extension of the highly successful KB4-CON U.S. event, which attracted more than 10,000 registrants. KnowBe4 (NASDAQ: KNBE) is the provider of the world's largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, and it will host KB4-CON EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). Any CISO, security awareness training administrator, or cybersecurity professional in the EMEA region and beyond is invited to participate in this completely virtual, highly engaging, cybersecurity-focused event. This year's KB4-CON EMEA will be held entirely online and will include special content tailored specifically to KnowBe4 customers and partners.

F-Mikko Secure's Hypponen will deliver a talk titled "The Internet: Best or Worst Innovation in Our Lifetime?" after receiving a warm welcome from KnowBe4 CEO Stu Sjouwerman. This session will discuss how our global networks are being threatened by surveillance and criminal activity, as well as how we can resolve our technical and human issues in a timely manner.

Hypponen stated in a teaser video for the event that “cybersecurity failures are at an all-time high today.” “In the face of ransomware attacks, data breaches, and data leaks, organizations require a comprehensive security awareness program, which will provide security programs with an additional layer of protection – the human layer.”

The audience will also have the opportunity to participate in a Fireside Chat with Kevin Mitnick, the world's most famous hacker who also happens to be KnowBe4's Chief Hacking Officer, and Colin Murphy, KnowBe4's Chief Information Officer. The two will talk about the most recent techniques that hackers are employing to social engineer end users. Kevin was once the FBI's most wanted hacker, and in this session, he will demonstrate to the audience that it takes one to know one when it comes to hacking. Kevin will demonstrate some of the most cutting-edge techniques used by today's cyber criminals in order to better equip attendees with the knowledge and tools they need to properly defend their organizations against cyber attacks.

All security professionals are invited to attend KB4-CON EMEA, which will take place on September 23rd, 2021, from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm GMT+1. Morning sessions for KnowBe4 channel partners and customers will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. with a happy hour. The afternoon sessions will be reserved for KnowBe4 channel partners and customers. These sessions will cover topics such as peer insights, product updates and best practices, as well as the future of workplace security, among other things.

“We are excited to bring KB4-CON to EMEA in order to address specific operational requirements for the region,” said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO of KnowBe4 Corporation. Our partners and customers, along with those who are not currently using our products, will be gathered for a day jam-packed with insights on how to strengthen their organizations' human firewalls by establishing a strong security culture, according to the company.
