business .

In Addis Ababa, a delegation led by Qatar's Military Attaché to Ethiopia, Brigadier General Mohammed Ali Al Hajri, convened with Brigadier General Kebede Regasa, the Commander of the Ethiopian Defense University. Their discussions, held on Tuesday, centered around enhancing cooperation in the realm of military technology excellence between the two countries. This meeting, as per the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), exemplified the commitment of both nations to bolstering their military capabilities through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

During their visit to the Ethiopian Defense University, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Ali Al Hajri and his delegation were given insights into the various military academic activities undertaken by the university. This encompassed a comprehensive overview of study programs, research initiatives, and practical training exercises. Brig. Gen. Al Hajri lauded the university's endeavors, recognizing them as pivotal in elevating Ethiopia's future military technological prowess across diverse military domains.

In response to the delegation's visit, Brigadier General Kebede Regasa underscored the importance of forging closer ties between Ethiopia and Qatar in the realm of military education and training. He emphasized the potential for collaboration not only in technological advancement but also in areas such as joint military exercises, research partnerships, and student exchanges. Such collaborative efforts, he noted, would not only enhance Ethiopia's defense capabilities but also contribute to fostering stronger diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Brig. Gen. Kebede also emphasized the necessity of coordination and the exchange of experiences garnered from military educational institutions in both Ethiopia and Qatar. By leveraging shared expertise and best practices, he argued, both nations could maximize the effective utilization of common military technologies and further solidify their strategic partnership.

Expressing his optimism for future collaboration, Brig. Gen. Kebede highlighted the Ethiopian Defense University's readiness to expand cooperation with Qatar's military educational institutions across all facets of military education and research. He envisioned a mutually beneficial relationship that would facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, ultimately contributing to the advancement of both nations' defense capabilities.

This recent engagement between Ethiopian and Qatari military officials builds upon prior efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in the defense sector.
