Former DeepMind employees have raised $220 million for an “AGI” (Artificial General Intelligence) model

business . 

"H", a global foundation model and "agentic" AI company, has entered the competition for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) with a $220 million seed funding round.

The company plans to use the raised capital to enhance its research team and acquire significant computing and data resources. Investors in the $220 million seed funding round include Accel, UiPath Inc., Bpifrance, Eric Schmidt, Xavier Niel, Amazon, FirstMark, Elaia Partners, Eurazeo, Yuri Milner, Aglaé Ventures, Creandum, Motier Ventures, Samsung, and Visionaries Club.

Four of H's founding team members have backgrounds at DeepMind, while CEO and Charles Kantor have roots at Stanford. The team consists of 25 AI engineers and scientists.
