Ottawa-based public safety technology company Versaterm has announced its acquisition of Mindbase, a Logan, Utah-based mental health and wellness platform provider, for an undisclosed sum. Mindbase's platform is designed to assist public agencies in monitoring the mental wellbeing of their first responders while proactively providing care and support. The platform's mobile app enables first responders to access resources for tracking mental health and fitness, as well as connect with peer support networks. The acquisition is expected to bolster Versaterm's capabilities in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by first responders, ultimately fostering a healthier and more resilient public safety workforce.
