Android and iOS users can send WhatsApp messages without having to type anything

Is it possible to send WhatsApp messages without having to type them? Users' Android and iPhone devices, as well as their computers, are equipped with advanced voice recognition capabilities, making this possible. It is possible that you will need to configure some settings before WhatsApp is ready to send messages for you without you having to type anything. This feature can be useful when you don't have physical access to your Android or iOS device, but you are in close proximity to the device. New WhatsApp messages can also be read out loud by using the voice assistant feature on your phone. However, it necessitates the use of additional permissions.

Since 2015, Google Assistant has allowed you to send WhatsApp messages using your voice, thanks to a feature called Voice Send. As part of iOS 10, Apple also added Siri support for third-party messaging apps, which was leveraged by WhatsApp shortly after the official release of the operating system.

How to send WhatsApp messages on Android without having to type

Before you begin with the steps on how to send WhatsApp messages on an Android device without having to type, make sure that you are using the most recent version of the WhatsApp application. You'll also need to make sure that you have the most recent version of Google Assistant installed on your device. You can manually check for updates on Google Play if you don't want to wait.

1. Open Popular Settings on Google Assistant by tapping your profile photo in the top-right corner of the screen and scrolling down to Personal results.

2. Activate the corresponding function. To activate the voice assistant, say "Hey Google" or "OK Google" a few times.

3. At this point, you can say "Send a WhatsApp message to..." followed by the name of the contact to whom you want to send a WhatsApp message in the third person.

4. At this point, Google Assistant will ask you to tell it the message you wanted to send via WhatsApp.

5. You must respond in a clear and concise manner with your message.

6. To send your message to Google Assistant, you will only need to say "Okay, send it," rather than typing on the screen.

However, it is important to note that Google Assistant may not prompt you for approval before sending your message, and that your message could instead be sent directly to the contact you previously communicated with. In order to have a completely hands-free experience, you must also enable Google Assistant to be used without having to unlock your phone. This can be accomplished by selecting Popular Settings > Lock screen.

On iOS, here's how to send WhatsApp messages without having to type.

The following are the steps you must follow in order to begin sending WhatsApp messages without having to type on your iOS device. Users with iOS 10.3 and later devices can take advantage of the experience.

1. Navigate to Settings > Siri & Search and select the option to listen for the phrase "Hey Siri."

2. Scroll down to WhatsApp and select Use with Ask Siri from the drop-down menu to activate the Siri integration.

3. You are now able to say "Hey Siri! "Send a WhatsApp message to...", followed by the name of the contact you wish to communicate with via WhatsApp.

4. Siri will inquire as to what you would like to send. You can then tell the assistant what message you want to send to the person you're corresponding with.

5. At this point, a preview of your message will appear on the screen of your iPhone. Siri will also read it to you if you wish.

6. Siri will inquire as to whether or not you are ready to send the message. If you're satisfied with the text, you can choose to have your message sent to your contact via WhatsApp by selecting "Yes."

It will be necessary to grant Siri permission to access your WhatsApp data if you are accessing WhatsApp through your voice commands on an iOS device for the first time. Siri, on the other hand, occasionally fails to function properly with WhatsApp and displays an error message saying, "Sorry, there's something wrong. "Please give it another shot."
