Apple will conduct its next hardware event in early March

Apple is expected to make its next hardware announcement on or around March 8th, according to reports from Bloomberg. In addition to the third-generation iPhone SE, a redesigned iPad Air for 2020, and a new Mac machine powered by an Apple Silicon processor, the company is likely to unveil several more products during the presentation. The date refers to the period between March and April. Earlier this year, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg Apple indicated that a date for the SE's unveiling had been set, but cautioned that production delays could force the company to change its plans.

A 5G modem will be included in the new phone, which will be the first time for the SE series, as previously reported. Furthermore, a speedier processor as well as a better camera are likely to be included. It will, however, retain the appearance of the existing model, which dates back to the iPhone 8. The next iPad Air, on the other hand, will include a chipset upgrade as well as 5G connectivity. Bloomberg made no mention of the new Mac that Apple is expected to unveil at the same event, although recent reports suggest the company will unveil a 27-inch iMac Pro at the same event.

If the possibility of a new iPhone SE isn't enough to spark your interest, the good news is that Apple is expected to release iOS 15.4 in the first half of March, according to a report from Bloomberg. According to reports, the update will include the ability to unlock your iPhone with Face ID while wearing a mask, among other capabilities.
