Apple is expected to make its next hardware announcement on or around March 8th, according to reports from Bloomberg. In addition to the third-generation iPhone SE, a redesigned iPad Air for 2020, and a new Mac machine powered by an Apple Silicon processor, the company is likely to unveil several more products during the presentation. The date refers to the period between March and April. Earlier this year, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg Apple indicated that a date for the SE's unveiling had been set, but cautioned that production delays could force the company to change its plans.

A 5G modem will be included in the new phone, which will be the first time for the SE series, as previously reported. Furthermore, a speedier processor as well as a better camera are likely to be included. It will, however, retain the appearance of the existing model, which dates back to the iPhone 8.
