BluDive Technologies Limited (BluDive), a provider of enterprise information technology solutions, has launched its paid Graduate Internship Academy, a six-month intensive mentoring program designed to train young Nigerian graduates in order to increase their potential for productivity in the information technology industry.
As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts to equip young Nigerians with skills that will enable them to compete favorably in the job market, BluDive is launching this initiative at a time when unemployment rates in the country are on the rise and the IT ecosystem is experiencing an exponential talent exodus.
It is the company's mission to provide custom IT solutions that will enable businesses to maximize productivity while minimizing costs, according to Abdul-Azeez Musa, the company's Chief Technical Officer.

Outline of the 6-month program
The 6-month program is divided into three (3) months of classroom instruction and three (3) months of hands-on supervised practice under the supervision of team members with extensive experience. Participants will be exposed to a broad range of Enterprise IT solutions and services provided by the team, allowing them to develop the necessary skill sets and work experience to help them compete more effectively in the market.
On the program objectives, Anaze Omananyi, Head of HR and Administration at BluDive, explained that the program is not only about equipping young Nigerian graduates with information technology skills, but it is also about providing them with employment opportunities (which is the CSR- objective). It is also intended to equip them with superior value competencies both within and outside of the organization, according to the plan.
“The Internship Program is expected to help them gain confidence, make useful connections, and gain valuable work experience,” says the program's director. Beyond knowledge-based development, we are also providing them with precise work processes and exposing them to the dynamism of the work environment, all while providing feedback and assessing their progress,” she explained.
During the course of the training, the candidates will receive a stipend, which will be provided at no cost to the candidates. After successfully completing the internship program, they will be awarded a certificate of attendance and completion. During the evaluation process, all interns will be evaluated, and the top seven (7) candidates will be offered full-time positions within the organization.
The remaining candidates who are not hired can be confident in the knowledge that they will be well-prepared to apply for any IT job anywhere in the world once they complete their education.
