Glovo finds Everything it Wants at AfricaWorks Lagos
Glovo is preparing to open its Nigerian operations at AfricaWorks in Lagos, following a string of successful launches in the continent's other countries.
Located in Lagos, Nigeria, AfricaWorks is an award-winning pan-African flexible co-working space provider with locations in eight African cities. The company recently announced the addition of Glovo, the fastest-growing delivery company in Europe and Western Asia, to its Lagos, Nigeria location.
A flexible work environment for Glovo's employees will be provided by this space, which is centrally located on Victoria Island, and it will also support the company's continued growth under OneRoof®. In Lagos, AfricaWorks operates out of a 456-square-meter facility with 79 private offices as well as meeting space. On-site amenities include free Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, access 24 hours a day, and a reliable power supply that is never interrupted. Those who lead hectic lives and require a central location to conduct their daily business will find this to be the ideal workspace.
After starting out as a single coworking space in 2019, AfricaWorks has expanded to ten locations in eight cities across the continent, with members including L'Oreal, Universal Music, Toyota, and Glovo among others (Abidjan). Global corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, and startups in the African market have increased their demand for high-quality co-working spaces, which has aided the growth of AfricaWorks in the past few years. By utilizing AfricaWorks' turnkey solution for professional corporate flex offices, these organizations are able to reduce operating costs while also accelerating business opportunities and driving innovation under the OneRoof® umbrella.
According to Tokunbo Ibrahim, Public Affairs Manager Sub-Saharan Africa, "We are thrilled to officially launch our Nigerian operations at AfricaWorks Lagos." When it comes to collaboration and working environments, we place a high value on our teams' ability to work in environments that not only allow them to be productive and comfortable, but also inspire them to be creative. AfricaWorks provides us with the means to accomplish this in a convenient location."
The addition of Glovo to AfricaWorks in Lagos follows the company's successful co-location with AfricaWorks in Abidjan, according to Gregoire Schwebig, Founder & CEO of AfricaWorks. This demonstrates our commitment to delivering world-class workplace solutions that enable African businesses to thrive in the global marketplace."
