How to Convert an Image to PDF in Windows 10

Microsoft Print to PDF virtual printer enables you to convert an image to PDF from any application that supports printing.

1. In File Explorer, select the JPG file. Select Print by right-clicking on the selected file. Alternatively, click the Share tab, followed by Print.

2. In the Print Pictures dialog box, select Microsoft Print to PDF as the printer.

3. Select your preferred paper size, quality, and quantity of copies.

4. From the right-hand sidebar, select the print layout. Additionally, Print Pictures' layout options allow you to select multiple JPG files and merge them into a single PDF.

5. Click Print to open the Save Print Output As dialog box, where you can give the PDF file a name and specify its location.

Note: If the Microsoft Print to PDF option is not visible in the Print dialog box, navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off > Enable Microsoft Print to PDF from the list of Windows optional features.

Converting JPG to PDF is simple with the Files app, and you do not need to download any image converter app. The following instructions are for an iPhone running iOS 14.

1. Delete image files from Photos and save them to Files.

3. Select Create PDF, and the newly converted file is saved in the same directory as the original image.

4. Using the Files app, move the file to a new location or share it.

How to Convert a JPG File to a PDF in Android

You can convert an image to PDF from the Gallery on an Android phone. Additionally, the Print feature allows you to specify the size of the PDF document. The following instructions are for a Samsung phone.

1. Navigate to the Photo Gallery.

2. Choose the image or images to convert to PDF from the drop-down menu.

3. On the top, tap the three-dotted menu icon. Select Print > Save as PDF from the menu bar.

4. Select the quantity of copies, the paper size, and the orientation. Save the PDF file to any folder on your phone's internal storage by tapping the PDF icon.
