How to position images in Google Docs Text behind or in front of it
When creating a document in which images play a significant role, the order in which they are placed in relation to the text is critical to the overall design. It is possible to overlay text on top of an image in Google Docs, as well as position text behind it.
Using this feature is incredibly simple thanks to Google's user-friendly interface. It's as simple as encircling an image with text to achieve this result. Open your Google Docs document and click on the image to make it the active selection.
The moment you click on an image, a small toolbar appears beneath it. This is the most straightforward location to make this modification. On the left-hand side of the toolbar, there are five different placement options. If you choose one of the two options on the right, the image will be placed either behind or in front of the text.
These placements are also visible in the Image Options sidebar if you intend to make further adjustments to your image and wish to do so from there. For more options, click More Options (three dots) on the right side of the toolbar and then select "All Image Options."
Expand the Text Wrapping section in the left-hand sidebar. If you look closely, you'll notice that there are two options: "Behind Text" and "In Front of Text."
Afterwards, you can adjust the position of your image or text to achieve the desired effect.
Take note that when you save your document as a Word or PDF file from Google Docs, the image and text placement will be preserved.
