What is Jooble: 

Jooble is a vertical job search engine that aggregates and displays job ads from thousands of job boards, corporate, recruiter pages and newspapers. Jooble is represented in 71 countries and available in 24 languages. The company is based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

About Company

Jooble is in the top 1000 most visited sites in the world, and as of December 2019, the second most visited job search site with 90 million visits per month on average and roughly 950 million visits during 2019. 

The geography of income is quite diversified as no country brings more than 7% of the total revenue. 60% of all revenue comes from Europe.

Crawler Technology: 

Jooble have developed a specific technology which aggregates job listings from small websites. The search robot independently finds websites with job ads and adds them to the search index. Jooble aggregates 40 million vacancies from over 250,000 sources. Each vacancy is checked at least 4 times a day for relevance.

Jooble History 

The company was founded by Roman Prokofiev and Eugene Sobakarev in 2006. Co-founders invested about $100,000 into the project.

In 2014 Horizon Capital invested in the company. As for December 2019, Jooble has only one external minority investor. Founders Roman and Eugene remain at the chief executive roles at Jooble. According to the local overview Jooble’s co-founder Roman Prokofiev ranks among the top 5 IT-entrepreneurs in Ukraine. 

In 2015 Jooble occupied the 32-nd spot in the ranking of top 50 most visited job search sites. 

As for 2018, Jooble ranks #3 among the most attractive tech companies to work for in Ukraine according to a local survey. 

And In 2019 the company reached a daily audience of 2 million visitors.

Yevgen Sysoyev, AVentures’ managing partner, mentioned in Forbes that Jooble is one of Ukraine’s tech companies that have the potential to reach a billion dollar market capitalization in the following five years. 

Research company Aim Group sees Jooble as a potential threat and top competitor to the dominance of the worldwide employment-website - Indeed.
