Moto E-Series Smartphone

Renders of an unnamed Motorola smartphone have allegedly surfaced on the internet, showing dual rear cameras and a waterdrop-style notch. Renders of an unnamed Motorola smartphone have allegedly surfaced on the internet. These renders were shared by a tipster via a tweet, but there is no mention of the smartphone's name in the tweet. Based on the design of the Motorola smartphone, it is possible that it is a member of the Moto E series of smartphones. Motorola is reportedly working on a number of new smartphones, including the Moto E20 and Moto E40, according to reports. Also recently revealed were the design and key specifications of the upcoming Moto G50 5G (codenamed Saipan), which was previously unveiled at MWC 2018.

According to renowned leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), the images depicted above are of an upcoming Motorola smartphone. But there was no mention of the specific smartphones for which the renders were created; instead, the tweet simply reads, "Name That Phone." Given the design of the smartphone, it is possible that it is a member of the Lenovo-owned company's budget-friendly lineup — the Moto E series — which is currently available.

What else will you see on this Motorola

According to the renders published by Blass, the Motorola smartphone will feature a notch in the style of a waterdrop for the selfie camera. The display has a tall aspect ratio, thick bezels on three sides, and a thicker chin to complement the display. The voice assistant button, volume rockers, and power button are all depicted on the right side of the screen in the renders. On the other hand, it is equipped with a SIM card tray.

The back of the smartphone features a honeycomb pattern with a Motorola logo in the center of the design. It is not clear, however, whether the logo serves as a fingerprint scanner as well as a logo. Dual rear cameras, as well as an LED flash, are depicted in the renderings. The rear camera housing can be seen at the top left corner of the smartphone's back, and it is labeled with the words "AI Dual Camera" etched into it. The smartphone's top portion includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the bottom portion includes a USB port — which appears to be a USB Type-C port — as well as a speaker grille.

Blass had previously shared some renders of the Moto G50 5G 'Saipan,' which appeared to be official. Design-wise, the smartphone is a little bit different from that of the Moto G50, which is a good thing (codenamed Ibiza). According to rumors, the Moto G50 5G 'Saipan' will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, according to some of its key specifications that have appeared online.
