Motomedia, Nigeria's award-winning Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising company, has made history by launching 'The AI Screen,' a first-of-its-kind interactive outdoor-LED screen in West Africa. The AI Screen is a first-of-its-kind interactive outdoor-LED screen in West Africa.

An announcement from the company, which recently expanded into Nairobi, stated that The AI Screen is an outdoor advertising screen that allows brands to engage, interact, and personalize campaign messages directly to their target audience in real time through the use of artificial intelligence technology.

It is stated in the press release that the newly installed interactive digital billboard also provides insights into audience profiling and behavior, allowing for the development of more targeted and effective campaign results.

The AI Screen is strategically located in the heart of Lagos mainland, facing heavy vehicular and human traffic, allowing brands wishing to use the platform to experientially showcase their products or services to reach a large number of people.

World's largest billboard 

It is the world's largest billboard that interacts with traffic coming from three (3) different directions at the same time. Beginning with one of the most well-known bus stops on the mainland, followed by the well-known Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, and finally the Ikorodu and Kosofe road, which connects major parts of Lagos State. Additionally, one of the notable landmarks in the area is Nigeria's first independent tunnel, which is visible from the viewpoint.

Motorola's President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Henry Orajiaka, expressed his delight at the monumental and historic achievement, noting that the AI Screen's interactive features enable advertisers to spend campaign budgets more effectively and target audiences based on their behaviors, among other things.

Aside from location-based consumer insights and data analytics, Mr. Orajiaka stated that the screen represents a departure from traditional outdoor advertising, which was previously sold primarily by media type and location.

This innovative solution from Motomedia, according to the company, has the potential to exponentially increase campaign effectiveness for advertisers by deploying personalized content and targeting OOH spend based on consumer behavior. Additionally, the AI Screen allows brands to pay for each exposure they receive.”
