MSP Connect, an award-winning program from Sophos, is seeing rapid growth
In a press release issued today, Sophos, a global leader in next-generation cybersecurity, announced that MSP Connect, an award-winning program designed to assist managed service providers (MSPs) in increasing customer management efficiencies, unlocking new business opportunities, and boosting revenue, has experienced rapid worldwide growth.
The increase in demand for Sophos' next-generation cybersecurity solutions and services, which protect against ransomware and other cyber threats, is a major contributor to the company's expansion.
Sophos MSP Connect achieved 67 percent year-over-year billings growth in the first quarter of fiscal year 2022, which ended June 30, 2021, and 55 percent year-over-year billings growth in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021, which ended March 31, 2021, through MSP Connect Flex, Sophos' flexible monthly billing program, which is available to MSP Connect customers.
It now supports more than 16,500 global and regional MSPs worldwide, representing a 54 percent increase since April 1, 2020, the start of Sophos' fiscal year 2021, when the service was first made available.
"Remote working has become increasingly popular around the world in the last year, requiring businesses to rely more heavily on the cloud to keep up with demand. The role of managed service providers (MSPs) in helping organizations secure hybrid workforces with remote employees has been critical since the beginning of the industry, according to Scott Barlow, vice president of global managed service provider and cloud alliances at Sophos. "Considering changing attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), which increasingly involve remote access services such as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)," Barlow said.
It is the only extended detection and response (XDR) solution in the industry that synchronizes native endpoint, server, firewall, and email security. Sophos XDR is the latest addition to the MSP Connect portfolio of security solutions.
When combined with other pillar products – such as the Sophos Firewall and Sophos Cloud Security – threat intelligence is shared in real time for coordinated and automated response to threats. This is part of the Sophos adaptive cybersecurity ecosystem, which is a new open security architecture for protection.
The Sophos ecosystem is built on a cloud-based data lake that contains the most comprehensive data set in the industry, and it is constantly improving as a result of the collective input from Sophos solutions and services, partners, customers, developers, and other security industry vendors.
The Sophos Managed Threat Response (MTR) service, which provides a dedicated 24/7 security team to rapidly identify and neutralize sophisticated and complex threats, is an additional benefit for MSPs. MTR is a fully-managed threat hunting, detection, and response service that is designed to benefit MSPs.
Partners can benefit from the highly customizable offering, which has become one of the industry's most widely used managed detection and response services, with more than 5,000 customers as of today.
We are seeing unprecedented demand for integrated security solutions and services that better protect customers while also enabling partners to grow their businesses," Barlow stated in an interview.
As a Sophos MSP, you will have access to the cloud-based Sophos Central platform, where you will be able to manage all of your customers' installations – both on-premises and in the public cloud – respond to alerts, and keep track of licenses and upcoming renewal dates all from a single, intuitive interface.
