The Release of Samsung One UI 4.0 Has Been Delayed
It was previously reported that Samsung planned to introduce One UI 4.0 during the first few weeks of the summer season, according to a leaker. This is the next version of the manufacturer's user interface, which will, unsurprisingly, be based on Android 12, the most recent version of Google's operating system to hit the market.
This information was provided to us by an insider at IceUniverse, who is well-known for his consistently accurate revelations. Additional to this, the leaker Max Weinbach revealed at the end of June 2021 that Samsung teams are already hard at work on the Android 12 update for the company's One UI. In other words, everything pointed to the release of the OneUI beta version as a near-certainty in the near future.
Finally, while the South Korean company has not announced a specific release date, it has stated that a beta version will be available in September 2021 at the earliest. Further, the manufacturer has confirmed that the beta test for South Korean users will begin on Thursday, September 9, 2021, and will run until the end of the year. However, it is clear that something has compelled Samsung to alter its plans.
The Release of Samsung One UI 4.0 on Android 12 Has Been Delayed
According to Android Authority, a representative from the Seoul-based company has confirmed that the public beta of One UI 4.0 will not be launched on this date. One UI 4.0 is expected to be released in the coming months. The aforementioned official did not provide any additional information regarding the reasons for the delay, nor did he provide a timeline for when the beta program will become available. He simply stated that the Samsung teams are still working on the issue in question.
At first glance, it appears that this is not going to be a long-term postponement. Perhaps the developers discovered a couple of minor bugs in the first beta and decided to postpone the release to allow them to be fixed. According to the same official, the first phase of beta testing would be available until October 29, 2021, at the earliest. However, it is a safe bet that this date will be postponed by a few days as a result of this delay. As a result, the Galaxy S21 could be equipped with the stable version of One UI 4.0 running on Android 12 by the middle of November 2021.
What Are the Features of the One UI 4.0 Version?
