The Vivo X70 Series Will Make Its India Debut This Month
After months of anticipation, Vivo has officially launched its Vivo X70 smartphone series in China. The Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ were among the devices included in the lineup. The devices are being released just a few months after the Vivo X60 series was launched in a number of international markets, but they offer significant improvements over their predecessors. Interestingly, the X70 series will make its global debut on September 13th, which is much sooner than expected. Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries are among those on the list of those who will be eligible for the list. In addition, according to tipster Yogesh Bra, the new smartphones could make their debut in India later this month.
The New Flagship Devices Will Make Their Debut Later This Month
In terms of performance, the X70 and X70 Pro can be considered entry-level flagship smartphones because they do not come with the most powerful chipsets available, but they do have capable SoCs. When it comes to the SoC, the X70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200, which is found in a wide range of smartphones, while the Vivo X70 Pro is powered by the Exynos 1080 SoC, which is the same chip from Samsung found in the Chinese variants of the X60 series. Last but not least, there is the stunning Vivo X70 Pro+, which is a true flagship device with a very impressive camera setup and the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor.
According to the informant, the new Vivo X70 series will make its debut in India on September 30th. Furthermore, the new devices will be priced in a similar range to the Vivo X60 series, which was launched in India at the beginning of this year. According to current estimates, the Vivo X70 will cost approximately INR 37,990 in India. The Vivo X70 Pro is expected to sell for approximately INR 49,990 when it launches. The Vivo X70 Pro Plus is expected to be available for purchase at a cost of INR 69,990. It's important to note that the Vivo X70 series is slightly more expensive in China than the Vivo X60 series, which is a significant difference in price.
There Will Be Some Differences Between Global Vivo X70 Smartphones
The global X70 series, as well as the X60 series, will have some differences when compared to their Chinese counterparts, which should be noted. In terms of prominence, the X70 Pro is the most notable. The X70 Pro+ will continue to be the top-of-the-line device thanks to the Snapdragon 888+ processor. For AI noise reduction and MEMC, it will exclusively rely on Vivo's new V1 Image Signal Processor (ISP), which is available now.
The X70 Pro will switch to the Dimensity 1200 that is found on the vanilla version of the computer. The V1 chip, which is present in the Chinese Exynos 1080p-powered variant, will also be removed as a result of this change. The vanilla X70 has remained unchanged, with the exception of the switch from OriginOS to Funtouch OS 12. While it may have a newer version number, it is still running on the Android 11.x operating system that was released in 2014.
Vivo has not yet announced an official launch date for the Indian market, which is expected to happen soon. Consequently, we believe that the company can adopt a different strategy for this country in the near future.
