Why Choose Figma

Figma.

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool which is primarily web-based, with additional offline features enabled by desktop applications for macOS and Windows. The Figma mobile app for Android and iOS allows viewing and interaction with Figma prototypes in real-time mobile devices.

Figma is a digital design and prototyping tool. It is a UI and UX design application that you can use to create websites, apps, or smaller user interface components that can be integrated into other projects. Figma helps teams create, test, and ship better designs from start to finish.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create amazing user experiences.
  • The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
  • Evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.

Why Choose Figma

1. IT IS FREE

Using Figma is free. You just have to sign up with your email, and you are good to go. With a free account, you can be up to two editors in a file, and have up to three projects. The amount of files in each project is unlimited, so for most users, a free account works fine.

2.  PLUGINS

Creating plugins is open to everyone, and you can also continue developing other users’ plugins if you want. It is easy to add new plugins directly in the desktop app, and the list of plugins available is long. Then you can share libraries, create your own plugins and create unlimited projects.

3. A CLEAN, INTUITIVE PROTOTYPING

The main prototyping features are embedded and easy to use. No need to export screens to see what your prototype actually looks like. Plus, the “Smart Animate” feature lets you easily create very sophisticated animations between two screens.

4. FLEXIBILITY OF COMPONENTS

Figma’s components, called “symbols” in Sketch, are much more flexible to use. While managing a symbol’s style properties can be limiting in Sketch, Figma handles every property individually. This means that every element can be changed independently, right from layer properties in a component instance.
