Manchester United completed their US tour with a defeat against Borussia Dortmund at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. Diogo Dalot and Donyell Malen scored for Manchester, but defensive errors gifted two quick goals for Borussia.

Tom Heaton made numerous saves but was ultimately overcome by Malen's scuffed effort and Karim Adeyemi's deflected strike, both from Malen. Additionally, Aaron Wan-Bissaka gave away possession to Marco Reus who played it into Youssoufa Moukoko for another scorer to score on.

1. Diogo Dalot put United ahead

Portugal full-back Diogo Dalot marked his return with a memorable opening goal after 23 minutes, taking advantage of being left unmarked at the back post to meet Donny van de Beek's tempting cross and strike it low past Gregor Kobel for a goal that opened up scoring chances for Portugal.

He then helped United score their second through another neat pass to Jadon Sancho, who shot wide. Additionally, he provided constant threat on the right flank with intelligent movements and pin-point crossing, keeping Dortmund pinned back.

Defenders played well as the game wore on, including one outstanding block to stop Marco Reus' close-range attempt and defend from two set pieces effectively.

2. Donyell Malen levelled

Antony made an impactful second half appearance for Omari Forson and looked lively and effective when it came to distribution, though his defensive work could use some improvement - giving away several free kicks in this period alone.

Malen's quickfire double just before halftime put Dortmund ahead, while Dalot's equaliser for United early in the second half was offset by Youssoufa Moukoko's winning goal at Youssoufa Stadium - ending Erik Ten Hag's disappointing tour at an Allegiant Stadium filled with 50,857 spectators. Jadon Sancho had earlier seen his brilliant turn denied by Mats Hummels while Marcus Rashford could only manage an unsuccessful shot from an advantageous position that went wide of goal from promising territory.

3. Youssoufa Moukoko gave Dortmund the win

At the Neon Jungle, one moment will stand out long after the final whistle had blown: 18-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko was introduced from the bench in the 74th minute to capitalise on some lax Union defending and made an impactful statement against an opponent who were having a good second half start.

He took advantage of a loose ball and shot past Frederik Ronnow to score Dortmund's fourth goal of the night, showing great composure under pressure to help Dortmund secure another win in this one-sided contest.

Ten Hag made eleven changes from his side that played Real Madrid on Thursday and Jadon Sancho started as captain despite Harry Maguire having his armband stripped from him earlier this week. However, Sancho struggled in the opening period by giving away the ball twice while his pass was intercepted by Sheraldo Becker as United struggled to create opportunities.

4. United were made to pay

Dortmund took an unexpected late lead after United's defence committed an error, leaving United with something to think about after dominating for much of the first half.

Dalot showed some excitement on the ball and scored an excellent goal, yet his Dutch opponent committed several cheap fouls and appeared nervous at times in defense.

He made another critical mistake near the end of the first half, allowing Sebastien Haller to break through on goal before being denied by Andre Onana's quick intervention.

United's fullback was impressive on the left side, yet struggled in the middle. While he got caught out at times, he provided some great crosses.
