Huawei Digital Power Presents Innovative Solar Technologies at FusionSolar Day Oman

Huawei Digital Power Middle East and Central Asia, a leading global provider of digital power products and solutions, recently participated in the FusionSolar Day Oman event held in Muscat. In partnership with Value Added Partner Solis Depot, Huawei showcased its cutting-edge solar technologies for residential and commercial applications, demonstrating its commitment to promoting green energy solutions in the region. The event brought together key stakeholders from the Omani government, solar industry leaders, and energy experts, providing a platform for Huawei to introduce its innovative new solar products and share its vision for a better, greener future.
 
Huawei has long been dedicated to combining digital and power electronics technology to offer low-carbon solutions that are secure, simplified, and environmentally friendly. The company's efforts have helped customers generate 400 TWh of green power, save 14.2 TWh of electricity, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 200 million tons, equivalent to planting 270 million trees. As Huawei continues to expand its presence in the Middle East and Central Asia region, events like FusionSolar Day Oman serve as important opportunities for the company to engage with local partners and stakeholders, and work towards the shared goal of building a low-carbon and smart society.
 
At the FusionSolar Day Oman event, Huawei Digital Power Middle East and Central Asia unveiled a range of innovative solar products designed to meet the diverse needs of residential and commercial customers.
For the residential market, Huawei launched SmartGuard, an intelligent device that allows for efficient on/off-grid switchover and load management, ensuring optimal energy utilization. Additionally, the company introduced the LUNA2000 energy storage solution, which boasts a higher capacity of 7kWh per module and advanced 4-layer safety protection. The residential lineup also featured the SUN2000 series of three-phase inverters, offering unbalanced load support and 100% off-grid capabilities.
 
Catering to the commercial sector, Huawei presented the SUN2000-150K-MG0 string inverter, also known as the "Hexagon Warrior." This high-performance inverter delivers an industry-leading efficiency of 98.8%, long-term reliability, and a rapid 0.5-second shutdown. With its robust features, the "Hexagon Warrior" is well-suited for industries such as iron and steel, transportation, non-ferrous metals, textiles, and cement.
Huawei's commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in the development of these cutting-edge solar products. The company aims to provide its customers with reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly solutions for their energy needs, paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
 
 
In addition to its impressive lineup of residential and commercial solar products, Huawei also showcased its smart microgrid solution at the FusionSolar Day Oman event. This innovative system combines energy storage and photovoltaic (PV) technology with smart control features, proactive safety measures, and optional medium voltage AC coupling via Huawei’s smart transformer station. The smart microgrid solution is designed to optimize the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) by reducing operating costs and increasing energy yield, offering customers an efficient and cost-effective way to manage their energy needs.  Eng. Omar Abu Najm, Regional Sales & Distribution Manager for Huawei's Digital Power Smart PV & ESS division in the Middle East and Central Asia, reaffirmed the company's dedication to driving the renewable energy revolution through technological innovation. He expressed confidence that the advanced capabilities and enhanced efficiency of Huawei's new solar products will accelerate the adoption of clean energy across the region.
 
Eng. Mohammad Alqadi, Regional Business Manager for Solis Depot MENA, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the company's commitment to shaping a green and sustainable future in the Arab region. Solis Depot, a key Value-Added Partner and Certified Service Partner for Huawei, has successfully supplied around 15,000 solar projects across 14 countries in the MENA region, with a total capacity exceeding 500 megawatts. The FusionSolar Day Oman event culminated in an awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding partners who have contributed to Huawei's success in the Omani market. Among the companies honored for their valuable contributions were International Gas Services LLC, Global Chemicals & Maintenance Systems LLC, Scan Electromechanical Contracting Co. LLC, Total Energies, Nafath Renewable Energy LLC, Nama Group, Petro Mark International, Authority for Public Services Regulation, Green Tech Energy & Water, Green Universe Enterprise, and Hussam Technology Company LLC.
