The South Korean company has quietly launched the Galaxy A12 Nacho in Russia as an upgrade to its Galaxy A12. On paper, the new smartphone is quite similar to the original Galaxy A12, which launched last November. It does, however, appear to be powered by a new Exynos chip, which should provide an improved experience over the previous model, which was powered by a MediaTek SoC. The Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho comes in three distinct color options. The launch of the Galaxy A12 Nacho coincides with Samsung's preparations for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, during which it will unveil its new foldable phones, dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho is priced at RUB 11,990 (approximately Rs. 12,100) for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant, and RUB 13,990 for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant (Rs. 14,100). The phone is available in three different colors: black, blue, and red. It is currently limited to Russia and is available for purchase in the country through the company's official website. PriceBaba was the first to report the Galaxy A12 Nacho's availability.
The original Samsung Galaxy A12 was priced at EUR 179 (approximately Rs. 15,600) for the 3GB + 32GB variant and EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 17,400) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The phone was launched in India in February at a price of Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 on top. It sports a 6.5-inch PLS TFT display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of HD+ (720x1,600 pixels). The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 SoC (no details are available on the official website), along with up to 4GB of RAM. It features a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

An accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor are all included on board. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side.
Samsung includes a 5,000mAh battery that the company claims will provide up to 20 hours of continuous Internet use on a single charge. Additionally, the battery supports 15W fast charging. Additionally, the phone is 164.0x75.8x8.9mm in dimension and weighs 205 grams.
