How to Block Auto Subscription and Claim on Refund?

On a PC or phone, you run applications to manage tasks for an auto subscription. You can run multiple apps on your device and perform your job. These apps can be free or paid. If you have freeware, you can easily install it on your device and use its tools. Meanwhile, if you are using a paid program; you have to buy a subscription. This subscription depends on the period, interface, tools, etc. Once you purchase the subscription; you can use all the premium tools on your device. Most OTTs, security programs, editing tools, etc are paid. You can only use them when you buy their subscriptions. For using programs for a long time; you can enable the auto-renewal feature. To stop using the program, you can cancel the subscription and claim a McAfee auto renewal refund. Some paid tools also provide free trial plans.

 

What is an auto-renewal plan?

On premium programs; you can find an auto-renewal feature. This feature is very good when you are planning to use the program for a long time. People often forget to renew the program after it expires and malware attacks the device. To prevent this malware; auto-renewal features are very helpful. Disable auto-renewal and claim the refund

If your program is under auto-renewal and now you don’t want to use it anymore then you should disable it.

Open the application

Visit My Profile page

Hit on Subscription

You will see an auto-renewal wizard

Toggle the switch to disable

A confirmation window will appear

Tap on the Yes button

Now your antivirus program won’t renew automatically. Go to the subscription window and now you can see the new expiry date of your program. You can use the program until the given date.

 

Claiming a refund on auto-renewal

If your program has been renewed recently but you don’t want to use it then you can check for a refund. Many applications have a refund policy on auto-renewal. Go to the program and check its auto-renewal refund policy. You can claim a refund within 15 or 30 days of auto-renewal. If your plan is under auto-renewal then you can claim a McAfee refund.

2. Click on the My Info page
3. Hit on the Subscription window
4. Go to the auto-renewal plan
5. Toggle the switch to off
6. Go to the Refund option
7. A confirmation window will be displayed
8. Tap on Confirm button

Now your auto-renewal plan will be canceled and you will see your refund details. The refund will appear on your account in a few working days. After claiming the refund; your program will expire. Go to the subscription window; it will show the Expired status. Now you can’t run any paid tool for that application.

 

Claiming antivirus refund on Android device

Many applications have paid plans for phone devices. If you want to use the program on your phone; search for it on the Play Store. You can only use the application on the phone if it is available on the play store. You can’t download the setup directly from the website. You can easily install the setup from the Play Store and use the application. For purchasing the application; you can directly subscribe to it from the Play Store. You can also cancel the subscription using Play Store.

2. Open Play Store
3. Tap on the Profile
4. Select Payments and Subscriptions
5. Hit on Subscriptions
6. You will see a list of applications
7. Select the program and hit on Cancel button
8. You will see a confirmation wizard on the screen
9. Tap on Confirm button
10. Go to the Refund window
11. Choose Yes button

The active plan will get canceled and now you see the Expired status on the subscription window.

 

Use a free-trial plan on your device

Many times, people purchase the subscription but don’t like the tools. Not all applications offer refunds. Even if the program has a refund policy; you can get the refund within a few days of purchasing the program. If you are using the application for the first time then you should check for a free trial. Many applications offer a 15-day or 30-day free trial. You can easily use all the premium tools of the program without making any payment. If you like the tools, you can purchase them after finishing the free-trial.

 

Renew your program after the expiry

When your program is not under auto-renewal; it will expire on the provided date. After the expiry; you won’t be able to use the paid tools. Some applications also have freeware. When the paid program expires, it automatically changes to a free plan. In music apps, you may get in-between apps. If you are using an OTT app; you might not be able to stream all content or have to watch the ads. To use your application without ads; you should renew the subscription.

2. Hit on the My Profile page
3. Select Subscription
4. You will see the Expired status next to the subscription
5. Hit on Renew button
6. Your account will be redirected to a renewal page

Select a good renewal plan for your application. Provide the renewal details and renew your program. Visit the subscription page; you will see a new expiry date. Now you can run all the premium tools of your program.

You can also renew your program before the expiry date. Check the expiry date of your program. If you have a few days for expiry; renew it. When you renew your program before the expiry date; the remaining days on the program add to the new subscription.
