10 helpful iPhone tips to use at work

It takes time to rebuild better, to explore the new normal, and to implement the digital transformation of everything we do at work. These iPhone tips may help you save some time along the way, allowing you to concentrate on the more important issues.

Send your location

Messages has a useful trick. If someone sends you a text asking where you are, simply reply as follows:

Begin typing "I'm at" and pay attention to what appears in the Siri Suggestions bar beneath the text input section: Current Location. To send your contact your location as a pin on a map, tap this. This is extremely useful when attempting to meet.

Share your business contacts

Given that you can share details about any contact record from within the Contacts app, why not create a shareable business card? Open Contacts, tap the Plus sign, and create a new record for yourself and your business. To share it, simply open Contacts, navigate to the record, tap Share Contact, and select how to share the card.

Use the time for Do Not Disturb

A timer is concealed within the Do Not Disturb item in Control Center. To access it, launch Control Center as usual and then hold down the Do Not Disturb (crescent moon) icon. An interactive menu that allows you to set Do Not Disturb to work for an hour, until the next time segment (morning, afternoon, evening), until you leave the location in which you are currently located, or until the end of a current event listed in your Calendar, such as the meeting in which you do not wish to be disturbed.

Utilize these to ensure that you do not forget to turn off Do Not Disturb following your meeting.

Anything printable is PDF-able

Generally, if you can print it, you can save it as a PDF. Simply open the document you wish to convert to a PDF, tap Share, and then select Print. You'll see a preview of the document you're about to print in the dialog window, but don't tap Print here; instead, spread two fingers across the preview.

A full-frame PDF will appear, which can be saved, shared, and annotated independently.

You shall Wi-Fi pass

One useful iPhone feature is Wi-Fi password sharing, which allows you to enter the password only once on your iPhone to connect your Mac to the same network. This feature is available only if both devices are signed in with the same Apple ID, have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on, and have Personal Hotspot turned off. To connect your Mac to the same network, simply open it, select the network in Wi-Fi, and the iPhone should prompt you to Share Password.

Always keep the receipts

All receipts can be scanned into Notes and then shared with your accounting app, accountant, or accounts department. Simply open Notes, name it "Receipts," and whenever you want to add something to the collection, simply open the note, tap the camera icon, and select Scan Documents.

What number should I call?

Your iPhone keeps track of incoming caller identification numbers. This is advantageous if someone calls you on a line for which you have multiple numbers and you wish to call them back on the same line. When you open their Contacts, you'll notice that the number they used to call you is marked as "recent."
