6 Online Investment Opportunities, Platforms & Apps

6 Online Investment Platforms & Apps.

6 Online Investment Opportunities

There are more investment options available today than ever before. This is largely due to technological advancements. It is not simply that the internet exists and that we can access it in more ways; rather, it is that our understanding of how we use the internet has evolved to the point where we feel completely comfortable conducting financial transactions and placing our trust in the internet's efficiency and security.

However, these are also some of the most critical factors to consider when deciding between various investment platforms/apps. Nowadays, there are so many options that even minor distinctions in reputation for security, efficiency, safety, reliability and customer service can make a significant difference.

What matters most, however, is where you feel most secure investing your money and where you believe you can earn the highest possible return.

1. Coinbase

2. Robin Hood

3. Stash

4. Acorns

5. Forex Trading

6. Online Publishing

Coinbase

Coinbase is one of a slew of cryptocurrency platforms, each of which could be the subject of a separate article similar to this one. However, it makes a strong case for being the market leader in this space and thus deserves mention.

Essentially, Coinbase is an online and mobile platform that allows users to buy and sell or trade cryptocurrencies, specifically Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin cash, and Ethereum, though additional cryptocurrencies have been added and may be added in the future. Fees vary according to how you purchase cryptocurrency – with cash, a debit card, or directly from your bank account – but the process is straightforward. The caveat is that cryptocurrency is extremely volatile and unpredictably fluctuating. Nevertheless, some regard it as an investment commodity.

Robin Hood

Robinhood is quite possibly the most well-known mobile investing tool available at the moment, despite the fact that several of the established online platforms mentioned above also have their own apps. This is a relatively new company that earned its early reputation (which is glowing) by offering free trades in virtually any amount.

The point is primarily to appeal to younger investors who may be wary of fees and may not have large sums to invest at the moment. Robinhood has established itself as a formidable competitor to more traditional online broker options through these benefits, as well as an interface that is frankly so beautiful that it is a pleasure to use.

Stash

Stash is, in many ways, similar to Robinhood, though it does not appear to garner the same level of attention. Stash was founded in 2015 and, like Robinhood, allows users to begin investing with as little as $1, regardless of the stock's share price.

Stash also places a premium on education, offering guides for beginners and educational features to assist you along the way, making it an excellent choice for beginners. Additionally, because it is primarily a mobile platform, it is worth noting that its interface is quite smooth, if not quite as uniquely beautiful as Robinhood's.

Acorns

As with Robinhood and Stash, Acorns is clearly geared toward a younger, more mobile-friendly demographic as well as novice investors. However, it is a completely different platform. Acorns is entirely focused on passive investing. It connects to your credit or debit card and rounds up all of your purchases, investing "spare change" in a trading account for you.

While you do have some control over the level of aggression in this account (there is a sort of scale ranging from conservative to risky), the app does the majority of the work for you. If this sounds too good to be true, it's worth noting that the app is not intended to make you a fortune. However, it can generate some revenue with minimal effort or expense.

Forex Trading

Forex Trading has been a long standing avenue for investment. There are various platforms used for forex trading known as Trading Platforms or Forex Brokers, such as FXCM, eToro, FXPro etc. Forex Trading requires financial market understanding and discipline and investment should be made with great caution because of its market volatility.

Forex trading promises vast rewards if you take your time to learn well and start trading consistently. The main reason why it is attracting many investors is because of the potential to earn bountiful profits. It is also accessible for the average investor who can trade small amounts of money at any time of the day.
