How to Disconnect Apps from Twitter
Your Twitter account may be deactivated if you use a third-party application that is connected to the social media platform. Logging out of any apps connected to your Twitter account will help prevent this from happening. If you do not want to delete your Twitter account but would like to manage which apps and services are associated with it, disconnecting an app from Twitter may be a good option for you.
1. To access Twitter, first log into your Twitter account and then navigate to Twitter.
2. Select the More option from the drop-down menu (note that depending on the size of your screen, the icon may be an ellipsis).
3. Select the Settings and privacy option from the drop-down menu.
4. In the Security and account access section, select "Security and account access" from the drop-down menu.
5. Select the applications and sessions that you want to use.
6. Select Connected applications from the drop-down menu.
7. Navigate to the application from which you wish to disconnect from Twitter.
8. Select Restrict app permissions from the drop-down menu.
You have now blocked access to any apps that you do not want to be associated with your Twitter account.
