How to Transfer iPhone Contacts to Android Devices Using Apps

While the iPhone comes pre-installed with iCloud, it is not the only cloud service that can be used for contact transfer. Contact transfer software, My Contacts Backup, exports your iPhone address book as a VCF file and sends it to you via email.

1. On your iPhone, download and install My Contacts Backup from the App Store.

2. On the iPhone, select Backup from the menu bar.

Note: Before exporting your contacts, go to Settings and choose which fields from your address book to include in the exported file. There are a variety of options available, including a phone number, an email address, a URL, and a physical location.

3. Click on the Email option.

4. Send the backup contact list to yourself or another email address on your Android phone by sending it to yourself.

5. On your Android device, open the message and select the Download icon for the VCF file to download it.

6. In the Open with dialog box, select Contacts from the drop-down menu.

7. Choose OK when prompted to confirm that the imported iPhone contacts have been successfully transferred to the Android phone.

8 After that, the contacts list will appear in the contacts app on your Android phone.

Using Google Contacts and Yahoo Contacts, you can transfer contacts from one device to another without having to go through the hassle of transferring them manually. There are a variety of similar tools available on the internet that allow users to sync their contacts with any compatible device, including iPhones and Android smartphones.
