How To Turn off The Android Autocorrect
The Autocorrect Feature
The Autocorrect is one of those smartphone inbuilt features that people love to hate much. As handy as this feature can be, it can also be a huge annoyance to users. In this article we will show you how you can turn it off for good on your Android device.
Even if you are somehow not too familiar with the term “autocorrect,” you would have probably experienced it one way or the other. When you are typing text on your phone or on your tablet and your keyboard automatically makes a correction that you have not yet inputted, that is the autocorrection.
It can be handy, for example, if you mistakenly type the word “taxo” and the autocorrect helps you to correct the word to “taco” when you have not even realized that you made a typo error. However, a lot of the time, the autocorrect can make “corrections” of things in a way that you do not even want, but the good news is that it is very possible for you to turn the "autocorrect" of your phone off.
We will be walking you through on how to turn off the autocorrect in your Google’s Gboard keyboard and also the default Samsung Keyboard that is built-in on Galaxy smartphones. Let us get started.
Turn off Autocorrect in Gboard
