How To Turn Off The Flashlight On The IPhone 11

iPhone 11.

You might find it difficult to figure out how to turn off the flashlight on the back of your iPhone 11—that bright white LED light—if you've accidentally turned it on by mistake. Learn how to quickly disable it on the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max at any time using the following instructions.

How to Turn Off the Flashlight Using the Lock Screen

When your iPhone comes out of standby mode, a special screen known as the "lock screen" appears on the screen. On this screen, you can turn off the flashlight by pressing and holding the flashlight icon in the lower-left corner for a few seconds.

As soon as you turn it off, you will notice a slight thump in the iPhone, which is actually a form of haptic feedback in action. To reactivate the flashlight, press and hold the flashlight icon in the corner of the lock screen for a few seconds.

How to Turn Off the Flashlight Using the Control Center

Each iPhone comes with a quick menu of shortcuts known as Control Center, which by default includes a shortcut icon that allows you to control the flashlight on your iPhone 11 device.

When you open Control Center on your iPhone, swipe downward from the upper-right corner of the screen to turn off the flashlight.

The illuminated flashlight icon, which is typically near the bottom of the screen when the Control Center menu appears, should be selected when it appears. It is possible to add the flashlight icon in Settings > Control Center > Customize Control Center if you do not see it already.)

The flashlight will be extinguished as a result of this. It is also possible in the future to turn on your flashlight in this manner, and by tapping and holding the flashlight icon in Control Center, you will be able to access a special pop-up menu that allows you to adjust the brightness of your flashlight. I hope this has helped to clarify the situation!
