IT solutions company Summitech Computing Limited plans to improve its hospital management software and launch a significant expansion program.
This was announced by the company's CEO, Adekunle Kunle-Hassan, during a virtual event commemorating the company's re-entry into the ICT space and their intended role in the sector.
This, he says, is consistent with the company's culture of continuous improvement. Summitech recognized a gap and introduced the first version of Indigo to strengthen its health system and make it uncompromised, effective, and efficient, he explained.

“Indigo was created with the goal of digitizing patient records, reducing patient wait times, streamlining hospital inventory and payment management, and providing comprehensive reporting. Initial tests have established that the software is capable of implementing a fully functional and efficient hospital management system. This is currently being used in eight healthcare facilities throughout Nigeria, including the largest eye clinic in Sub-Saharan Africa,” he explained.
Summitech Computing Ltd was founded in 2016 by Adekunle Kunle-Hassan with Babatope Olosunde and Emmanuel Obidiegwu as founding members. They came together to accomplish a common goal: to combine their collective expertise in product development, software engineering, and information technology infrastructure to create a company that provides world-class information technology services.
Additionally, Hassan stated that an improved version of Indigo will be available in the coming months.

Summitech also has an impact on the technology community through its annual Quality Assurance training, which provides a pathway for more young people to enter the technology industry. Summitech offers three-month internships to the top three trainees.
